But yeah, there’s a hole in the saucer, with the tubing glued to it, and then a hole in the top of the bucket and the side of the bucket, which the tubing is fed through to create a bend. Then it just runs off into the yoghurt tub. The only reason the one on the left has hydro clay is because the pots in that one are shitty pots without drainage holes from the dollar store, so I had to drill holes, and I didn’t want them sitting directly on the saucer blocking the holes.

Overall it’s a pretty simple but effective solution to draining runoff, especially once under a trellis/scrog and you can’t move the plants easily.
