Onions issue

I’ve been trying to grow onions in my garden, but I’m encountering some issues. The plants seem to be growing very slowly, and some of the leaves are turning yellow. I’m not sure if it’s a watering issue, soil problem, or something else. Can anyone offer advice on how to improve the growth of my onions and prevent these issues?
