      Why I’m starting this thread

I’m running the Spider Farmer DWC setup (4 × 7-gallon buckets) and overall, it works well – but there’s no real sensor solution for the nutrient water. As of now, Spider Farmer offers no submersible sensor that measures water parameters and connects to the app.

What I (and probably many others) am looking for is a sensor that can continuously measure water temperature, EC, pH, and TDS, and send the data directly into the Spider Farmer app. No more lifting lids, manual testing, or keeping handwritten logs.

What this kind of sensor should offer

      • Water temperature (too warm = root issues)
      • EC and TDS (to monitor nutrient strength properly)
      • pH (which can fluctuate a lot in DWC)
      • Fully submersible / waterproof (IP68)
      • Seamless app integration via G-series controller or direct Bluetooth/Wi-Fi
      • Live readings + notifications in the app (e.g. EC too high, pH off-range)

      Why I’m posting this here
I just want to see if other DWC growers feel the same. If you’d use a sensor like this, feel free to drop a short comment – even just how many buckets or what setup you use. If enough of us speak up, maybe Spider Farmer will respond or at least let us know if something is planned.

They’ve responded to feedback before (on forums, Reddit, Instagram etc.), so I figured it’s worth opening the topic here.

Simple ask: A sensor. For water. Not soil. And app-connected.
Thanks to anyone who adds their voice.
