I have used both the Subcool recipe and also the Coot’s recipe. Organic growing for me is ALOT easier then using salt based nutrients. The yields may not be as high however the terps are much more flavorful than salt in my opinion. Another advantage is PH issues once you get a great microbial buffer PH is LESS of an issue. I’m not saying that it is never an issue but DEFINITELY less of one. Nutrient lockout becomes LESS of an issue also as you are feeding the soil not the plants and the plant will take what is needed from the soil
